Typically, we don't do much for New Years Eve. We will usually watch the ball drop in nyc on tv at 11pm and then head to bed! But this year, we decided to host a little party at our house!! The big boys were really excited which just makes it that much more fun!! We made s'mores, did some small fireworks, the kiddos had a silly string fight and we enjoyed a fun evening with good friends!

I'm not much of a resolution kind of girl. But this time of year does always lead me to spend some time reflecting ~ the successes, the trials, the triumphs of the year past. This year i am choosing one word to focus on in every area of my life. Joy. I want my home to be filled with Joy. I want to choose Joy each day regardless of my circumstances. I want to grow closer to my Savior ~ to be a little more like Him when 2013 comes to a close.
