Punkin' Patch

Sunday after a wonderful message at church we headed out to the local punkin' patch so the boys could pick pumpkins for carving later this week! We had a great time being together and watching the boys together!

This is one of our favorite things to do as a family each fall! What are some of your favorite fall family traditions??

That looks like such fun! We've gone to a pumpkin patch a couple of times and have really enjoyed it! We don't really have any fall family traditions, other than going to my mother-in-law's house for Thanksgiving. Our family traditions usually center around Christmas and birthdays.

Aw....I love the pumpkin patch. We started a long time ago with the pumpkin decorating tradition. Some years it's just been funny faces drawn with a sharpie, others it's included the full fledge carving and cleaning out. Whatever it is...the kids love it. (well, not so much the teenager any more, but the little one does.)

unfortunately, my 2 seem to have outgrown going to the pumpkin patch and even carving pumpkins together - they do it with friends now instead of mom. our best fall tradition is Thanksgiving - we spend it in the woods at deercamp (i'll explain this in more detail in a post closer to Thanksgiving).

Looks like lots of fun! I love the tractor picture. We also go to a local pumpkin patch every year and our church has a big Fall Festival that the kids always look forward to. We usually have some other friends over to carve pumpkins the Sunday night before Halloween and I make lasagna. Not set in stone traditions...but still lots of fun!
